Wow, what a long, good week. Last Saturday I finished the nutritional cleanse, just in time to jump on a plane on Sunday and head to Midwest. Figuring out what to eat without having to resort to less than healthy alternatives. It was a challenge, but I managed. Then it was a hectic 24 hours out of state before flying back home on Monday. I went straight from the airport to my meditation class. It was a good class, but I was wiped out. It’s been kind of a blur since then. I am grateful that it’s Friday. I am parked on the sofa catching up on Grey’s Anatomy and vegging out on television. This is a very good thing to be doing.
Tonight’s blog is going to be short, offering simple gratitude. For safe travels…for showing up and bringing my best self to my presentation and interview…for really enlightening meditation class and sitting meditation group…for good conversation with friends and a clarifying therapy session…for music every day…for good, hard work at the Berkeley Food Pantry. I am tired, but filled with gratitude.
I anticipate having more energy tomorrow to write a more proper blog. Until then, I look forward to getting some sleep.
