Tonight simple gratitude: it has been a lovely weekend. Was able to spend more time with Michal today, including a walk, along with the dog, at my favorite place. Now as I write this blog, she is writing a paper. Tomorrow morning early she’ll head back up to school. Michal works hard–she is in her senior year in college, taking 20 credits and working two jobs. She isn’t able to get home much because she often works weekends. So having her here this weekend has been a special treat.
I’ve spent the last 30 minutes contemplating what I am going to write about. I am grateful for writer’s block tonight. It doesn’t happen often, but tonight it has. So for the first time in 94 previous posts, I’m going to close with a few simple points of gratitude from this past weekend.
- Ice cream with friends Friday night
- Surprise visit by and hanging out with Michal
- Beautiful weather this weekend and a great walk at the park with Michal and the dog
- Getting some outside work done before the rain comes early this week
I’m looking forward to the week ahead, with lots to be grateful for and a lot to write about. Until then, I’m signing out for tonight. Thanks for reading. See you back here tomorrow.
